Located in the Gibson Desert, 900km west of Alice Springs, Wanarn Clinic provides health services to a remote indigenous community. Working with architect firm Kaunitz Yeung, MRN constructed the clinic in four modules on a concrete base at our Alice Springs facility, hiring our workforce from the local community. The facility design factored in cultural requirements, included shade screens to reduce dust and had thermal insulation to offset the high temperatures of the harsh desert environment.
