Located in the APY Lands in far north South Australia, the Mimili Anangu School project was to construct a 35-place Preschool and Occasional Care facility.
Mimili is a remote site that is difficult to access. With our extensive experience working in this challenging region, including the construction of accommodation, education, and police facilities, MRN was well-equipped to handle the complexities of the project.
MRN contracted 70% of our workforce for this project within South Australia, prioritising local employment from the Mimili community. We also utilised our South Australian steel facility, emphasising our commitment to supporting local resources.
The result was a high-quality and functional facility that not only met the environmental conditions of the area but also respected and incorporated cultural requirements. We completed the project on time within the allocated budget.
