Groote Eylandt is a large island off the Northern Territory coast, inhabited by four Aboriginal communities. The client directly engaged with MRN for the design and construction of a new manager’s accommodation and mining worker’s camp. The project included 15 staff houses, and additional camp accommodation for up to 20 workers. It was completed out of our large Darwin facility and then barged to the island, on time and within budget.
